Excellent all-weather guard, flight creme and protective crème after laser or chemical peels. This revolutionary crème utilizes a unique triple defense strategy: Fortifying Lipids to restore skin’s natural moisture-holding capacity; two Breathable Barriers, including Perfluro polymethylisopropyl ether, that form a lightweight invisible shield to protect from intense cold or heat and harmful chemicals; and Multiple Time-Released Antioxidants to deliver long-term protection from destructive surface radicals, before they can enter the skin and cause inflammation or sensitivity.
This unprecedented three-way system protects skin inside and out from all types of harsh environments — including dry, chilling winter winds, arid snow and indoor heat, airplane cabins, fireplace and tobacco smoke, smog, airborne pollutants and potentially irritating chemicals such as household cleansers, perm solutions, paint thinners and hair styling aids.
Skin Defense Crème contains non-comedogenic barriers to reduce formation of clogged pores — especially during the post-procedure healing process, and is so lightweight, skin breathes easily as it moves comfortably throughout the day. Note: To allow even the most sensitive skin to benefit from its protection, Skin Defense Crème does not contain sunscreen. For the most effective sun protection, we recommend Solar Defender SPF 28.

ACTION INGREDIENTS

- Perfluropolymethylisopropyl ether: breathable barrier; acts like a ‘second skin’
- Squalane/squalene: skin-fortifying lipids; form a ‘water-trap’ that keeps skin moist for hours
- Glycolipids/phytosterols: skin-fortifying lipids; form a ‘water-trap’ that keeps skin moist for hours
- Superoxide dismutase (SOD): soothing antioxidant; stands in the way of irritating radicals
- Lecithin: liposomal microbubble; slowly releases SOD for hours of surface protection
- Tocopheryl acetate: stabilized vitamin E; helps neutralize irritating radicals on skin’s surface
- Sodium hyaluronate: bioactive moisturizer; holds up to 1000 times its weight in water on skin
DIRECTIONS
For daily use: Apply moderate amount of crème over skin. To reduce friction and help prevent redness that can occur during application, warm a dime-size amount of crème between your fingertips and lightly pat and press into the skin. May be worn over water-soluble complexes; lotions and crèmes; blended with Equalizing Serum; and worn under Solar Defender SPF 28.
After laser or chemical treatment: Apply moderate amount of crème over skin once “oozing” has stopped and healing is apparent (about 3-5 days).
Before perming: Apply liberal amount of crème on skin near hairline. Wipe off with clean tissue or cotton after perm process is completed. Do not rub crème into skin. Perm solution may have blended with crème, which can cause irritation if left on or rubbed into the skin.
POWER FOR EXTRA-STRENGTH PROTECTION FROM MOST ENVIRONMENTS: blend 1 pump Equalizing Serum with the moderate amount (nickel-size) of Skin Defense Crème.
BEFORE EXPOSING SKIN TO DEHYDRATING WIND, INDOOR HEAT, OR AIRPLANE CABINS: Seal-in moisture with 1 pump Moisture Boost Complex or Instant Calm Ultra Complex under moderate amount of Skin Defense Crème.
FOR SKIN EXPOSED TO SMOG, TOBACCO SMOKE OR AIRBORNE CHEMICALS: blend 1 pump Activating Liposome Complex with 1 pump Oxygen Boosting Complex. Layer under moderate a mount of Skin Defense Crème.
FOR IMMUNOCOMPROMISED SKIN: layer 2 pumps Activating Liposome Complex under moderate amount of Skin Defense Crème.
